Freedom for Religion South Africa (FORSA) had requested a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Justice to discuss the PEPUDA Bill. Eighteen participants from various faith groups and personnel from the Department of Justice attended the virtual meeting on the 7th July 2021.
The United Ulama Council of South Africa (UUCSA) held its quarterly meeting in Durban on the 17 and 18 of May 2021, wherein various matters of national importance were discussed.
Members of UUCSA met over 2 days for important strategic discussions affecting Muslims of South Africa. A total number of twenty four delegates representing nine organizations from the various provinces converged at the Offices of the Jamiatul Ulama South Africa (JUSA) for the two day indaba.
